Who we are

The Fair Practices Commission is an independent, neutral and confidential resource for injured workers, employers and service providers to address current concerns about the fairness of services and treatment at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board.

The Commissioner reports directly to the Board of Directors, through the Chair. (see Executive level organizational chart. (PDF Format)

Laura Bradbury is the Commissioner. Ms Bradbury is a lawyer by profession. She has a background at Ombudsman Ontario and as a neutral adjudicator in workplace safety and insurance matters at the tribunal level in Ontario and British Columbia.

The Commissioner, Fair Practices Specialists and Intake and administrative staff are located in Toronto. One Fair Practices Specialist is also located in Thunder Bay. The Commission also has a roster of part-time Fair Practices Specialists.
